COMMISSIONS, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Commission Process
After receiving your idea, reference, or theme that you wish to be incorporated into your artwork, we will begin the creation process by sketching the compositional elements. These sketches will be sent to you, and based on this initial drawing, we can discuss and decide on the direction to pursue.
Following this stage, we can select the colours to be used – you may also suggest colour preferences in your initial briefing. After deciding on the colours, we will send you the final sketch. It is important to note that the final sketch serves as a rough draft, outlining the composition and colour scheme rather than providing a detailed representation.

Payment and shipping
After we agree on the canvas size and the composition, we will provide you with a quote, not including shipping costs. You will be responsible for the shipping expenses, which will be added to the final price. Upon agreement on the final price and the pencil draft, we will request a 50% deposit. The remaining balance will be due upon the painting's completion, and the piece will be shipped once the full payment has been received. In respect to any credit card or other payment processing details you have provided us, we commit that this confidential information will be stored in the most secure manner possible.

Return and Refund Policy


Returns
We offer a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. To qualify for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

To initiate a return, you can contact us at info@jessicavella.art. It is important to note that returns must be sent to Malta. If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please be aware that if you reside outside Malta, shipping your returns might take longer than anticipated. Damages and Issues

Upon receiving your order, please inspect your item and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (including original paintings and special orders or personalised items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. If you have questions or concerns about
your specific item, please get in touch. Unfortunately, returns or refunds are not accepted for original artworks, sale items, or gift cards.


Exchanges
To ensure you get what you want quickly, return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period 

 

Notwithstanding the above, for merchandise being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 


Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you whether the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
